Alejo Little, the Colombian social media star known for documenting life with a rare genetic bone disorder, has died at age 33. His death was publicly shared on March 13, 2026, by fellow influencer Carlos Feria. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Career and public life

Born David Alejandro Peláez Marín and better known online as Alejo Little, he built an audience of more than 4 million followers on TikTok and Instagram by chronicling his experiences living with skeletal dysplasia and the bullying he endured as a child. Little focused his accounts on the emotional realities of his condition, using his platforms to raise awareness and connect with others facing similar challenges.

Final posts and tributes

Fellow influencer Carlos Feria announced Little’s death on Instagram on March 13, writing, “Time slipped away, and I regret it.” Little’s own recent social posts reflected the toll of his struggle. In a March 2 TikTok, he appeared with an oxygen line and wrote, “When you’ve already hit rock bottom but you’re tired of so much fixing things and you long to find a float on the surface that will finally save you.”

His last Instagram post, published Feb. 10 on his 33rd birthday, read in part: “I thought my 33rd birthday was going to be different, but it wasn’t … All I ask of life is to be able to be myself again, to find meaning in my days once more, and for my mind to be in a healthy place so I can keep helping others, no matter how lonely I feel—because I’m grateful to God, my small support network, and the ideal that’s saving me.”

About skeletal dysplasia

The articles accompanying Little’s posts described skeletal dysplasia as a group of genetic disorders that disrupt normal bone growth and often result in very short stature and other physical differences. The reporting noted that there are hundreds of recognized forms of skeletal dysplasia, and that severity can range from relatively manageable conditions to disorders that are lethal in infancy. Treatments can include growth-related medications, orthopedic supports, physical therapy and surgery, but outcomes vary by diagnosis.

Little died roughly one month after his 33rd birthday. His place of death has not been publicly disclosed.
