In the Instagram post, Lorna Luxe, 43, wrote: “My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the every end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.” When she asked him how he was feeling, she reported that his reply was, “Rough, but in love.”

The deceased is identified in reports as John Andrews, a former banker. Luxe said he had been receiving treatment over the last three years.
