He made his debut in 2006 with the KBS2 series The Invisible Man and appeared in multiple TV dramas, including the 2021 series Miss Monte-Cristo, which marked his first leading role.
Lee also appeared in films, including the 2013 movie Secretly, Greatly, and was active in television and cinema throughout his career.
Earlier legal matter
In 2022, Lee was briefly detained on suspicion of drug use. Police later released him without indictment after reviewing medical records that confirmed he had been prescribed medication for mental health reasons.
